Certificates with recent operating systems

From Windows 10 onwards, Microsoft operating systems usually already contain the required root certificate. This means that installation is usually not required when setting up the WLAN. The setting "Use system certificates" - or similar - is sufficient.

Depending on the operating system and the current setting in the Wi-Fi profile (SSID), confirmation of the updated server certificate is required.

For Windows operating systems, for example, the certificate details can be displayed and compared with the data on our website.

Connect WLAN uni-halle

Select the WLAN "uni-halle" and confirm with "Connect".

The "Connect automatically" option saves all settings and activates the connection automatically when this WLAN is available.

A security prompt is displayed the first time you connect.

Before you enter your login data - check the data of the login server with the certificate details!

All MLU servers currently have a Sectigo certificate. The fingerprint can be checked on our WLAN certificates website
